Kan Akutsu, R&D Department Leader at Araya, and colleagues will host a public event in Dubai: “From Mind to Motion: Exploring the Future of Bio-Signal Interfaces for Robots and Avatars” (Dubai, November 26–27, 2025)

The public event “From Mind to Motion: Exploring the Future of Bio-Signal Interfaces for Robots and Avatars” will be held from Wednesday, November 26 to Thursday, November 27, 2025, at The Office of the Future (Dubai, United Arab Emirates).

This event is co-hosted by the Internet of Brains (IoB) of the Moonshot Goal 1 Kanai Project and the Dubai Future Labs (DFL), with whom IoB is currently conducting joint research.

  • NeuroWizards

Engage in a magical battle controlled by your gaze and brainwaves. Players wear a proprietary EEG device developed by ARAYA, Inc., using their gaze to aim at targets and their brainwaves to unleash powerful special attacks. Come and experience this new form of game interaction that goes far beyond conventional game controls!

  • Mushin Capsule

The Mushin Capsule (Mushin meaning “no-mind” or “mindlessness”) offers a groundbreaking digital experience that simultaneously reads two types of biological information: brainwaves (Alpha waves) and prayer posture. This process digitally materializes a state close to Mushin. Aim to win a capsule by relaxing and maintaining the correct posture while focusing on your “prayer”!

  • BRAINPICS

This experience is like directly controlling your own avatar: the character automatically turns in the direction your head is tilted, and accelerates just by your intending to move forward. The head tilt is detected by the “PLUG” device, while the AI reads the signal from your brainwaves at the moment you intend to “move forward.” Come and experience this futuristic gaming world where your consciousness and the character synchronize!

  • Controlling DFL Autonomous Delivery Robot

Experience controlling DFL’s Autonomous On-Demand Delivery Robot, developed for safe and efficient urban delivery, using electromyography (EMG). Sensors detect the EMG signal patterns from your muscles, which a computer instantly analyzes and translates into control commands for the robot. Don’t miss out on this new operational experience where your body’s movements become the command!

In addition to the above experience content, there will also be an exhibition introducing collaboration projects and a display summarizing the past, present, and future progress of DFL and IoB.
