Hiroaki Hazama / Neuroscientist (Ph.D.). Research Team Leader ( Araya NeuroAI Division, Inc.). D. from the Graduate School of Science and Technology, Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST), and has been engaged in modeling positive states as a Principal Investigator of the Moonshot R&D Program (Goal 9) "Realization of a society where people can live positively even in adversity" (PM Yamada Group) since 2022. (Goal 9) "Realization of a Positive Society in Adversity" (Yamada PM Group). His research interests include elucidating the neural computational mechanisms of curiosity and the principles of large-scale neural activity, and he spends his days implementing them in society for the future created by AI and neuroscience.

Entrepreneur with an interdisciplinary perspective who switched from agriculture to engineering at the University of Tokyo. He founded FUKU Corporation in 2018 with the aim of automating scientific research through AI (AI-driven science). He focuses on extracting information from specialized documents and building life science-related databases, and is involved in the construction of learning data construction platforms for drug discovery AI and analysis automation for robotic experimental facilities. He is a core member of the Laboratory Automation Association of Japan. He is passionate about exploring new possibilities through the fusion of AI and science.
