THE JEITA VENTURE AWARD IS GIVEN TO VENTURE COMPANIES THAT CAN CONTRIBUTE NOT ONLY TO THE OVERALL DEVELOPMENT OF THE ELECTRONICS AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRY BUT ALSO TO ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, AND THIS YEAR MARKS THE FIFTH TIME THAT THE AWARD HAS BEEN PRESENTED.

Araya Inc. has developed deep learning technology with high image recognition technology, and has been expanding its business to manufacturing, communications, agriculture, forestry, and fisheries related fields. Furthermore, based on this technology, the company has established a technology that enables a reduction in the amount of computation by compressing the AI model to 1/30th of its original size, while keeping the accuracy almost the same, and has made it possible to develop technologies and products that can judge the situation by themselves and operate autonomously. In the future, this technology is expected to be applied to 5G generation edge devices such as automobiles, smartphones, drones, FA robots, and cameras. Therefore, the company was judged to be worthy of the JEITA Venture Award.
