SMOOTHING MRI TRIALS: ARAYAAND THE JAPAN NEUROPSYCHIATRIC IMAGING CENTER LAUNCH BUSINESS ALLIANCE TO PROVIDE MRI-BASED RESEARCH SUPPORT SERVICES COMBINING STATE-OF-THE-ART BRAIN IMAGING ANALYSIS TECHNOLOGY AND CLINICAL TRIAL EXPERIENCE TO MAKE MRI-BASED RESEARCH SMOOTHER

Ltd. ( Araya) and the Japan Psychiatric Neuroimaging Center (JNIC) have entered into a business alliance to provide MRI-based testing and research support services.
ArayaBy combining the brain image analysis and AI technologies of the Japan Neuroimaging Center with the clinical trial resources of the MRI Center (UNB Sumiyoshi-jinja-mae Clinic) of the Japan Neuroimaging Center, the hurdles to MRI testing, which have traditionally been highly specialized and difficult to conduct, will be lowered and smooth research support will be realized.

With the recent market expansion in the field of neurotech, we expect that the need for brain image data analysis will increase in basic and applied research fields such as brain science, cognitive science, and psychology, as well as in clinical research fields dealing with psychiatric and central nervous system disorders (depression, dementia, etc.).
On the other hand, the study design and analysis using MRI are highly specialized, and there are very few MRI facilities that can be used quickly by researchers who are not in a collaborative research relationship, making it difficult for non-specialists to initiate experiments.

ARAYAAND THE UNB SUMIYOSHI-JINJA-MAE CLINIC OPERATED BY THE JAPAN PSYCHIATRIC NEUROIMAGING CENTER, CUSTOMERS ONLY NEED TO BRING THE CONTENT THEY WISH TO VERIFY AND RECEIVE SUPPORT FROM STUDY DESIGN TO REPORT WRITING FOR MRI-BASED TESTING.

Joint: Sales activities, interviews, study design (the best person for the job will design the study in consideration of the area of expertise).

UNB Sumiyoshi-jinja-mae Clinic is a clinic with both a psychiatry department and an MR center. The psychiatry department specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of depression and other general mental illnesses in adults, and the MRI center has an experienced staff to provide a wide range of support from clinical to research.
ArayaThe MRI Center is staffed by a large number of MD/Ph.D. scientists in psychiatry, affective research, and cognitive neurosciences. D./Ph.D. researchers who regularly conduct their own research and write papers are available to propose the most appropriate analysis method and create algorithms according to the purpose of validation.

MRI is a very important tool for neuroscience research, but issues of access and expertise have been barriers. This alliance will resolve these issues and expand research possibilities.

Naoya Oribe, Director, Japan Neuroimaging Center, Inc.
We are very pleased to collaborate with Araya, a company with a proven track record in functional brain analysis. Rapid access to MRI for research and clinical use is one of our top priorities. We will leverage our mutual strengths to further develop this field.
