Abstract: In the construction industry, productivity improvement and labor saving are major issues. In the study of crane plans, much relies on the experience of planners, and there is a need to improve the efficiency and maintain/improve the quality of the study. In this issue of the Journal, we will introduce the BIM/CIM linked crane simulator at Arayato check interference and determine lifting capacity in three dimensions, and explain how it contributes to improving the productivity of planning studies.
