Starts offering software that enables testing for hair contamination in food products without the need for learning.

( Araya; CEO; Ryota Kanai, Araya), an artificial intelligence (AI) technology developer and solution provider, has updated its "InspectAI " software package for visual inspection and started offering software that can inspect hair contamination in a variety of food products without product-specific learning. The new software is capable of inspecting various food products for hair contamination without product-specific learning.

Enables customers to immediately inspect their products for hair contamination.

InspectAI is increasingly being introduced as a visual inspection AI software that can handle "hair contamination," which has been difficult to detect with conventional inspection machines in the food manufacturing field. However, until now, it was necessary to train the AI for each product, which required time for preliminary verification and implementation.
With this update, it is now possible to detect hair in a variety of food products without having to train AI for each product. This enables food manufacturers to immediately validate hair contamination testing on their products and to introduce the system in a short period of time.

For example, the same production line can be used to make multiple products, or to flexibly accommodate new products or changes in content.
