October 25, 2022 Notice

ADOPTED BY THE MINISTRY OF LAND, INFRASTRUCTURE, TRANSPORT AND TOURISM FOR THE "2022 MODEL PROJECT FOR FACILITATING BUILDING PRODUCTION AND MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT PROCESSES USING BIM".

ARAYALTD. AND OKUMURA GUMI CORPORATION JOINTLY APPLIED FOR THE "VERIFICATION OF ADVANCEMENT AND ACCELERATION OF MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT BIM SYSTEM" IN THE "2022 MODEL PROJECT FOR FACILITATING BUILDING PRODUCTION AND MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT PROCESSES USING BIM (LEADING BUSINESS OPERATOR TYPE)" OF THE MINISTRY OF LAND, INFRASTRUCTURE, TRANSPORT AND TOURISM (MLIT).

ArayaIn this verification, the following two tasks will be handled by utilizing the AI technology and know-how related to BIM and LiDAR, etc. owned by the company.

1) [Verification B: Simulation of electricity consumption data].
Build an AI to further correct the power cost calculated by the energy simulator (Energy Plus) to a value closer to reality, and predict and verify the corrected power cost.

(2) [Issue B: Verification of a method for streamlining the construction of BIM models of existing buildings].
Verify a method to create a BIM model of an existing building in a simplified manner by using point cloud surveying data acquired with an iPhone LiDAR camera, etc.
